Bringing your dog to your shoot is always a good idea!
This sunset photoshoot at a beach in the Netherlands was one of those sessions that reminds me why I love what I do. Photographing two close friends made the experience even more special—it felt relaxed, loving, and full of genuine connection from the very start. The soft evening light, the sound of the waves, and their dog happily running along through the sand dunes created such a playful atmosphere. We tried out different ideas as we went, letting moments unfold naturally. Their dog joined in for some shots, bringing energy and laughter into the images, while we also took time to create quiet moments without her to truly focus on their connection and the love they share.
Because this was one of their first photoshoots outside of their wedding, they were a little nervous at the beginning, which is completely understandable. But as the session went on, those nerves quickly melted away. They mentioned several times how comfortable they felt, and that ease really shows in the photos. Seeing how happy they were with the final images, and knowing they felt relaxed and themselves in front of my camera, made this shoot incredibly rewarding.

Kind words from M&P
"We had such a great experience with Charlotte. We don’t really like or are used to being in front of the camera, but her guidance was clear and calm, she truly listened to what we wanted, and everything felt very natural. The photos are absolutely beautiful, we couldn’t be happier! Highly recommended🤍"
