Sunset Shoot at Rijksmuseum
This sunset photoshoot in Amsterdam unfolded like a slow, romantic walk through the city, easing gently from day into night. We began at the iconic Rijksmuseum, where the warm evening light wrapped around them as they wandered hand in hand, completely absorbed in each other. From there, we strolled through the streets of Amsterdam, stopping along the canals to capture those unmistakable views that feel timeless and intimate all at once. Their connection was soft and steady—full of quiet glances, laughter, and a kind of closeness that felt especially tender as the city began to slow down around us.
As the light faded, we ended up in a small plein before finishing the evening at a cozy café, where strings of lights glowed overhead and the atmosphere felt calm and inviting. By then it was fully dark, and they warmed up with hot chocolate and coffee, soaking in the final moments of the day together. This was their first time visiting Amsterdam, and with the Christmas market still ahead of them that evening, the shoot felt like the start of a special memory. Having lived in the Netherlands for just a year, they shared how meaningful it was to celebrate this chapter of their lives—especially while feeling a bit homesick and spending the holidays away from family. This session became a warm, romantic way to honor their love, the place they now call home, and a beautiful, positive close to their year.

Kind words from P&D
“Working with Charlotte was such a special experience. She is an amazing photographer and a genuinely lovely person who made us feel relaxed and at ease from the very first moment. The whole session felt natural, warm, and fun. Now we don’t just have beautiful photos, but also a wonderful memory of a winter afternoon in Amsterdam. Looking at the pictures feels like watching a romantic movie, and that’s exactly how the moment felt for us. Thank you, Charlotte, for welcoming us in front of your lens and for capturing a day that we will treasure forever.”
